The WDH-220B air purifier is optimised according to the latest technical knowledge.
The unit works with a HEPA filter and an active carbon filter. In an average air-polluted household and with approx. 8 hours of operation of the air purifier per day, the filters last approx. 1 year! In more polluted rooms, e.g. smokers' households, the filters may have to be replaced after approx. 4 - 6 months.The recommended retail price (RRP) is EUR 189,00Capabilities:
- Pre-filter: The cleanable pre-filter (lint filter) removes all larger particles such as hair and lint, thus ensuring a longer service life of the HEPA filter.
- HEPA filter (H13): One of the best filters around, this brand filter captures and filters particles as small as 0.0003mm. This includes pollen, germs, viruses, mould spores and dust with a purity rate of 99.97% !!!
- Active Carbon Filter: Absorbs and cleans many types of smoke and odours (e.g. cigarette smoke) and also helps break down toxic fumes, gases and solvents.
- Air sensor / Auto mode (optionally switchable): Automatically measures the air quality. If the determined air quality is good, the air purifier automatically switches to the weakest operating level (night mode). If the result is the opposite and the air quality is inferior or poor, the operating strength adjusts automatically (strong or weak).
- 3 speed levels: Strong (approx. 200 m³/h), weak (approx. 150 m³/h) and night mode (approx. 80 m³/h).
- Auto timer: With the timer you can preset/select a remaining running time of the unit of 1 / 2 / 4 or 8 hours.
- LED display incl. air quality: The air purifier has a modern display, so you always have a quick overview of all settings and the current status of the air quality (tendency).

Up to what room size is the WDH-220B air purifier suitable?
The maximum room size depends on many factors:- How the room is divided up in your home and- the associated air circulation- How much unclean air comes in- Your personal purity targetFurthermore, what kind of air purification you want to use the unit for. The unit is particularly powerful for pollen, fine dust and dirt particles in the room air. For odours and cigarette smoke, the unit takes a little longer.Note: When filtering dust and particles, one filter cycle is sufficient to clean the air, as all particles are trapped in the fine filter. In the case of cigarette smoke and odours, the carbon/catalyst filter is mainly used and here the filter medium needs approx. three filter cycles per square metre of air until one can speak of clean air.Generally speaking, the air purifier is suitable for rooms up to 40 m².Does the WDH-220B air purifier have a timer or can I put a timer in front of it?
Unfortunately, you cannot use a timer for the unit. Here is some information from the instructions for use:"The air purifier has a so-called MEMORY function. This means that the unit picks up where it left off before restarting. (In the event of a power failure, however, this is not the case for safety reasons)."A timer would be comparable to a power failure for the unit.However, the unit offers the possibility to set 1 / 2 / 4 or 8 hours of operation and then it switches off automatically.Is the WDH-220B air purifier also suitable for a small room (e.g. approx. 15 sqm)?
Yes - our air purifier is also very suitable for small rooms. Due to its 3 blower levels, it can also be optimally adjusted in smaller rooms.Can the WDH-220B air purifier be mounted on the wall?
The unit is not actually designed for wall mounting, but it can certainly be mounted directly on a wall with a little manual skill.Can you sleep while operating the WDH-220B air purifier?
The noise level is as follows:Level 1 ~ 40 dBLevel 2 ~ 50 dBLevel 3 ~ 58 dBTherefore, we recommend level 1 for a good night's sleep. If the unit is not placed directly next to the bed, an undisturbed night's sleep should be possible for normally sensitive persons.Is the WDH-220B air purifier suitable for commercial power use?
Our WDH-220B air purifier is not recommended for commercial use. Certainly, the device would improve the indoor air there as well, but it could never achieve "purity values" and the effectiveness that is aimed for in private households. In addition, there are the filter sets, which would certainly have to be changed very frequently.For demanding air purification tasks, we recommend our industrial air purifier WDH-AF500B.
