  The WDH-520EB dehumidifier only reaches a peak noise level of approx. 49 dB. This is comparable to the noise level of a bathroom exhaust fan (whisper-quiet operation). If you place the dehumidifier on carpet or a floor mat, the value of 48 dB should not be reached.

  The maximum room size depends on many factors:

  For example, how much moisture comes in, what the temperatures are in the respective room and what your target humidity value is. As a general rule, the unit is suitable for rooms up to approx. 50 sqm (125 cbm).

  The air circulation is approx. 180 m3/h. Please note that the air circulation should generally be matched to the existing cooling fins (evaporator unit) and in the case of units with too high an air flow rate it can very easily happen that the condensed moisture (drops) on the cooling fins is dried again by the blow-dry effect and is blown out again into the room air with the strongly circulated air at the other end.

  Yes, the dehumidifier is ideal for continuous dehumidification.

  The air intake is at the back of the unit and the exhaust air is blown out at the top (slightly in front). The dehumidifier should therefore have at least 15 cm of air/distance at the back so that it always receives enough air. However, to increase the effectiveness and economy, it is recommended to place the dehumidifier as freely as possible and close to the most humid place.

To determine whether a unit is sufficient, you need to consider the size of the room or the water surface.   Vorgängermodell hat 14 Jahre lang seinen Dienst verrichtet. In der Zeit waren zwei kleine Reparaturen nötig. Mit Hilfe eines Aktobis Technikers konnten die Probleme per Telefon behoben werden. Vermutlich ist das neue Modell von gleicher Qualität. Hergestellt in Deutschland mit Top-Service. Gegenüber anderen Geräten (von anderen Herstellern) schaltet bei Aktobis der Lüfter aus, sobald die gewünschte Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum erreicht ist. Also kein unnötiger zusätzlicher Stromverbrauch wie bei den angeblichen Testsiegern. Auf diesen wichtigen Punkt wird bei den Vergleichstest nie eingegangen.

  Ich bin begeistert von dem neuen Gerät. Das alleine hat vielleicht noch nicht viel zu sagen, weil mich eigentlich so ziemlich alles begeistert, wo ich nur den Stecker in die Steckdose stecke und es läuft. Hier hat meine Begeisterung aber wirklich ihre Berechtigung. Ich hatte schon das Vorgängermodel, das mir über viele Jahre durchlaufend gute Dienste in meiner 43m² Wohnung geleistet hatte. Die lange Standzeit über den trockenen Sommer hatte es aber leider nicht so gut verkraftet und so musste ich es leider "erschießen". An dem neuen Gerät habe ich dafür nun umso mehr Freude. Es ist genauso intuitiv zu bedienen wie das Altgerät, lässt sich aber noch feiner einstellen und reißt, obwohl es nicht mehr im Dauerbetrieb läuft, jetzt noch mehr Feuchtigkeit weg.
